S/V Moorea

Built in 1974, Moorea is a 35' Dufour Sloop built in La Rochelle, France by Michel Dufour.

We found our Dufour in Seattle, Washington, sold our house to buy and live on the boat.

For over two years, we worked on her rigging, added some equipment and saved our money for cruising.

We named her, Moorea because it was our first goal.  To sail to a French Polynesian island.  If we survived and were still having fun, we would keep going.

It took us four years to sail the world.
